The Hidden deTours team strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for tour seekers of varying abilities to enjoy and explore WA.
As each tour we offer is different, we encourage you to contact us directly to discuss your accessibility requirements and how we can best helpto accommodate your needs.
Private group tours can be custom created to suit the needs of individual guests.
Itineraries can include venues and routes that are more accessible.
Family groups are best accommodated on a private group tour, which allows for prams to be stored and children’s car seats to be installed. Car seats must be supplied by tour participants.
Foldable wheelchairs or other mobility devices can be stored during transportation.
You can choose your own pick up and drop off location that best suits your needs.
PUBLIC WALKING TOURS
Our public history walking tours are planned with accessibility in mind for wheelchairs, prams and other mobility devices.
Some of our public bar tours visit hiddenbasement venues or rooftops that due to the older design of the building do not have wheelchair accessibility. With plenty of notice we can adjust the itinerary to include wheelchair friendly venues.
Please contact us directly before booking a public tour to ensure the tour you are interested in experiencing on a specific date includes venues that are accessible.
If you have limited mobilitywith walking and climbing stairs, please adviseus when booking so we can best accommodate you whilst on tour.
PUBLIC BUS TOURS
Our minibus does not have a wheelchair lift or ramp.
If we are advised withnotice, we can store wheelchairs or mobility devices during bus transportation.
Alternatively, we are more than happy to create and host a private guided tour, if guests arrange an accessible vehicle through another charter bus company for guests that require a wheelchair lift or ramp.
If you have limited mobility with walking and climbing stairs, please advise us when booking so we can best accommodate you whilst on tour.
PUBLIC MEETING POINTS
Our meeting points are walking distance to bus and train stations.

DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
We do our very best to accommodate food intolerances, cultural dietary requirements and allergies with advanced notice.
Although we advise our venues of all dietary requirements, we are unable to guarantee their food preparation areas are completely free of trace elements of gluten, nuts and other allergens. We recommendbringing any medication on tour with you as a precaution.
Some dietary requirements may incur an additional fee which is on-charged from venues.
VISION AND HEARING
All commentary is delivered in English.
Our bus and walking tours havetour guides with performing arts backgrounds who are trainedto project their voices to groups when delivering commentary.
Bus Toursare fitted with a microphone and sound system to ensure guests can hear all commentary and information throughout the tour.
We can adjust the way we deliver commentary and information, in terms of speed, volume and more detailed description, based on the needs of the group.
Our Perth Secrets, Scandals and Hidden History Tour starring Famous Sharron includes the use of silent disco headphones. This technology allows people to adjust their own volume level to hear the tour guide and music being played.
We have received positive feedback from tour guests using silent disco headphones that they are able to hear very clearly using the headphones and do not need to use their hearing aids. This technology could be used for other tours to assist with the ability to hear more clearly.
Please let us know when booking if anyone in your group has vision or hearing impairments, so we can adjust our tour delivery accordingly.
If there is anything we can do to further enhance your experience with us, please let us know by emailing: [email protected] or calling/texting +61 437 050 252
