The hills are alive with the sound of locals relaxing in a leafy beer garden with not a worry in the world. It’s an escape from the city to times gone by.
Wet your whistle at the oldest pub in Western Australia, the Rose and Crown, in historic Guildford built in 1841. We then venture up the hill to Mundaring, Mahogany Creek or Parkerville. We visit three old pubs in five hours.
Learn about our local bushranger and pioneer history. Some of the pubs we visit are over one hundred years old! And in the summer months some pubs have live music too!
