Monique's passion for travel and her endless quest for adventure and new experiences, lead to the creation of Hidden deTours in 2013. She is thrilled to create a business that’s focus is fun, exploration and enjoyment and can't wait to be your Perth tour guide! She is a sporty, arty and nerdy country girl from Narrogin, who has lived in Perth since she could drive. As a dedicated Perth tour guide, you'll find her on the search for that new hidden bar in Fremantle, the fab little Perth Hills pub or the incredibly tasty restaurant that has just opened. She enjoys fine wine, gin and whisky, loves music and art festivals, and adores this great state of Western Australia! |
Caitlin is a actor and singer who has been treading the boards on Wadjuk Noongar Boojar for most of her life. It was her love of theatre that led to her meeting Director of Merriment, Monique, in 2006 and her love of walking, people, history (and gin!) that led her to joining the delightful Hidden deTours team in 2022. When not performing or Hidden deTour-ing, Caitlin revels in her work as a teaching artist for WAAPA, Bell Shakespeare and Black Swan State Theatre Company. Sonnets and Show Tunes available on request… |
According to her social media accounts, Elisabeth’s big loves in life are travel, cocktails, performing arts, and her dog (not necessarily in that order). A possible midlife crisis saw Elisabeth quit the public service looking to add more joy to her life. Having been introduced to Monique by one for her former Merrymakers, Elisabeth joined the team to spread joy through her love of cocktails and Perth’s amazing bars. A bellydancer for over twenty years and a self-proclaimed karaoke queen, watch out as Elisabeth may add a shimmy walk or singalong into a tour. |
