Monique's passion for travel and her endless quest for adventure and new experiences, lead to the creation of Hidden deTours in 2013. She is thrilled to create a business that’s focus is fun, exploration and enjoyment and can't wait to be your Perth tour guide!
She is a sporty, arty and nerdy country girl from Narrogin, who has lived in Perth since she could drive. As a dedicated Perth tour guide, you'll find her on the search for that new hidden bar in Fremantle, the fab little Perth Hills pub or the incredibly tasty restaurant that has just opened. She enjoys fine wine and whisky, loves music and art festivals, and adores this great state of Western Australia! Monique always has insider suggestions whether it be a fancy drink or the best pizza combo to try. The transport is great and Monique is a fantastic and fun host. It's great having everything organised for you and that way everyone can enjoy the party. 5/5 stars without a doubt! Jade - TripAdvisor |
Carma spent the better part of two decades in the hospitality industry and even though she left the game behind to pursue another career, she never lost her passion for tremendous food and beverage experiences. She’s the friend who chooses the venues. Tell her your requirements and she’ll know just the place. On the weekends you’ll likely find her exploring the Swan Valley - tasting wines, sampling the fresh produce and enjoying the scenery. If it’s Spring, she’ll probably tell you that’s her favourite time in the valley, but in truth she loves them all equally. |
Tania grew up in the Swan Valley and is passionate about supporting local businesses in Perth. Her family history dates back to the first settlers that arrived in WA in 1829 and she loves sharing tales of those pioneer settlers misadventures. Not only a keen historian and guide Tania is also an award winning Jazz vocalist so don’t be surprised if she breaks into song while on tour. She looks forward to taking you on your very own adventure to discover some hidden gems in Perth. |
Eve is a German, English, Aussie who's been living in WA for over a decade, calling Esperance, Broome and Perth home. She enjoys discovering new venues and is a self-confessed ‘food snob’, often seen about town trying new tasty treats. Whether craft beer, gin based cocktails, cheesy treats or something sweet, she’s probably tried it or is about to try it. Outside of work, she loves a good 'crafternoon', or dancing around her kitchen, annoying her husband and her cat. Eve enjoys meeting new people and showcasing all that her beloved Perth has to offer! |
Ivan is a design lover, vintage hunter, avid walker, constant explorer, BBC6 Music listener, witty quipper and road tripper – with a penchant for the arts, nature, simple things, interesting ideas, living sustainably and meeting wonderfully like-minded people.
He comes to Hidden deTours with over 11-years of touring experience, starting out as a tour guide all-over Europe with Topdeck Travel, before returning home to work as a driver/guide throughout Australia. Ivan calls Fremantle home and he knows it, along with Western Australia like the back of his hand – having previously worked on creating the official caravanning and camping guide for WA. He looks forward to showing you all the hidden wonders this glorious city and state has to offer. |
Julia is an adventure seeker and enjoys tasty pleasures by the forkful. She is Perth born and bred and has spent the past decade travelling in search of the best burger, places to dive and to have strange animal encounters.
When she is not merrily guiding tours through Perth, she is writing about travel and dating through various media publications around the world. Julia enjoys meeting people from all walks of life and helping people experience Perth in a new light. |
